Environment And Carbon Emissions

The Board is aware of the impact OPAL’s activities can have on the environment and is committed to minimising our environmental footprint. Key targets for 2026 include reducing waste, reducing carbon emissions, recording and reporting for ESG and EDI purposes, and engaging clients to digitalise processes and collaborate on sustainability projects.

Continually reduce operational waste and encourage recycling, reuse and responsible disposal.

Actively manage our activities to reduce carbon impact across travel, energy use and operations.

Environment

Our objective is to reduce our impact on the environment through continual improvement.

  • Use teleconferencing to reduce unnecessary travel.
  • Recover, reuse and recycle printer cartridges, paper shredding and cardboard.
  • Encourage switching off lights and electrical equipment when not in use.
